Mitch Stephen has been honing his songwriting skills for five decades. In the '70s, he was inspired by singer-songwriters like Dan Fogelberg and Jackson Browne, igniting a lifelong passion for creating music.
Author Gene Fowler once said, "Writing is easy. All you do is stare at a blank sheet of paper until drops of blood form on your forehead." Yet, the dream of crafting "the perfect song" remains alive and well wherever Mitch travels.
A former drummer, Mitch does not play a melodic instrument, nor does he perform his own songs in public. He creates music by snapping his fingers and singing in his simple a cappella voice, allowing the lyrics and melodies to arrive simultaneously.
